rends and Tasks in Qualitative Research on Clinical Supervision
Son Eun-Jung

Abstract
To suggest the direction of qualitative research on clinical supervision, the current study examined 7 Korean studies and 18 foreign studies conducted from 1990 to 2009 base on methodology and research themes. The results indicate that most participants of the qualitative research were supervisees, and that the principles of researcher¡¯s role and research environment were not observed adequately. In addition, supervision process was the most frequently studied theme among related studies. These results suggest four future tasks as follows. (a) the research for supervisors need to be activated, (b) researchers should reflect their biases about the research theme and report them in the study, (c) qualitative research of clinical supervision need to be conducted in more natural situation, and (d) the qualitative research theme of clinical supervision need to be diversified.
